Building My Collection: You Are Here Starbucks Mugs

October 16, 2015 2 Comments A+ a-

You Are Here Starbucks mugs are my weakness. Every time I travel to a new city or a state, I have to drop by a local Starbucks to see if they have a YAH mug.

What do they look like? Well, here--caution, they're super cute and you might get obsessed yourself. Just a warning!

Right next to my 3 Brothers wine (Rochester-ians, you MUST go to the winery!).
Top Left to Right: Waikiki and Hawaii.
Middle Left to Right: Alabama, Dallas and Texas.
Bottom Left to Right: New Orleans, Seattle and Chicago.
I started my collection when my internship boss gave me a Chicago one at the end of my internship as a parting gift, I fell in love with the concept of collecting at every city I've lived in/traveled to. (Yes, I know I don't even have a Rochester or a California one yet...)

I love the YAH mugs because it shows where I've been in the last year or so. I love memorializing things and having souvenirs!

Future YAH Mug Wish List:
San Francisco
California
Bay Area (if there's one!)
Rochester, NY
Washington (the state!)
Oregon
Portland
Austin
Cancun, Mexico
...and many more to places where I will travel!

This is only one of my many collections, but one of my prized ones. Eventually I want to add photos to the box of each location so I can continue to memorialize it!

Stacked proudly on the top of my pretty messy bookshelf!
Do you have a collection you started? What is it? Do share!

What a great parting gift ;)

When I was one, my parents started my collection for me. We lived in Europe and they bought dolls in native dress in every country we visited. People still bring me dolls when they travel overseas.

I'm so not a doll person, but I do want to display them someday. The "It's a Small World" ride might have a run for it's money...

Wow, my mom collected porcelain dolls for me, I used to have them in my room until it got creepy! I still have a bunches of them (probably broken) somewhere in storage.

Thanks for sharing!
