Building My Collection: You Are Here Starbucks Mugs

You Are Here Starbucks mugs are my weakness. Every time I travel to a new city or a state, I have to drop by a local Starbucks to see if they have a YAH mug.

What do they look like? Well, here--caution, they're super cute and you might get obsessed yourself. Just a warning!

Who said you couldn't teach an old dog new tricks?

Once I picked up my Canon T3i, it was like my hands were finally complete. I could capture the beautiful things around me instead of getting frustrated at the quality or the lack of THE picture I wanted on my iPhone. Especially the photos with the moon and the skies at night, you know what I'm talking about. You've tried to capture one amazing photo of those on your iPhone then shouted at your phone for being stupid and not cool enough. Yes, I've done the same. No shame in it.

In High School, I was part of the *coughBESTcough* club on campus, the Yearbook team! As a member on the yearbook team, we were all required to know our camera techniques and such. Ever since I graduated, I haven't touched a single DSLR camera. But when a friend sold me his camera, the minute I picked it up, it was like I shot my most recent photos the day before instead of years before.

Photography has been a fleeting passion of mine for a while, I follow a couple of amazing Deaf photographers (shout out to y'all, you know who you are!) and I always loved being able to get memories stuck in a photo. It's been a while, but I hope to never let this passion go away, of course--I won't be a professional or have my own business, but it's a hobby that I'm excited about.

I can't wait to shoot more amazing photos, especially here in the Pacific Northwest!

If you're a fellow photography hobbyist or a professional photographer or whatever, I would LOVE your feedback on my photos, quality, and editing. Give me all the tips you can give me!

Again, don't forget to give me feedback. I eat feedback for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner...and maybe the occasional midnight snack!
